Mrs. Marguerite Woodstock Riley QC LLB (Hons) M.Phil. (Cantab) Attorney-At –law

Marguerite Woodstock Riley QC attained her LLB degree with Upper Second Class Honours from the U.W.I in 1980 and her L.E.C from the Norman Manley Law School in 1982.
In 1985 she was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship and obtained her Masters Degree from the University of Cambridge.
She is admitted to practice in Barbados, Jamaica, the Turks and Caicos Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago. Practicing in Barbados for the past thirty-four years, she has established her own law chambers since 1991. Mrs. Woodstock Riley QC has extensive experience in civil litigation, insurance law, personal injury, maritime law, construction law and family law. She has experience in arbitration proceedings and practical management of contractual and construction disputes.
She was appointed Queens Counsel in 2009 and has acted as a High Court Judge in 2009 and 2010. She was Chairperson of the Legal Profession Disciplinary Committee 2013-2017, was a member of the Legal Profession Technical Advisory Group for the IMPACT Justice project, and is currently a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
